Pondering on Wings Again

I have been pondering about wings again this spring as the swallows have returned to their mud nests and the fledgling hawks have taken flight. I have several favorite scriptures about wings. The first is from Isaiah 40:31:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
And here is a little jewel from in D&C 124:99. This part of the section is basically calling William Law on a mission and this is some of what it says.

98 And these signs shall follow him—he shall heal the sick, he shall cast out devils, and shall be delivered from those who would administer unto him deadly poison;

99 And he shall be led in paths where the poisonous serpent cannot lay hold upon his heel, and he shall mount up in the imagination of his thoughts as upon eagles’ wings.
Verse 98 is standard signs that follow those who believe in Christ. The second part adds so much to concept of eagle's wings. It is actually the imagination that gives one the power to "mount up" as it were, with wings as eagles. It is truly our thoughts and the things we create with our imagination that elevate us and give us access to healing, and it is our thoughts and imaginations that drag us down. Or, to be clear, it is the thoughts we choose to pursue. We do not always generate the thoughts that come to our minds. Here is what Yogi Bhajan says about it:

"You think you think but you don't think.... Don't complicate things by trying to think....As humans we have one power, to pursue a thought. What are you gonna pursue? "I am finite" Or, "I am infinite?" - Yogi Bhajan

For several years I have offered a training and certification in Therapeutic Imagery Facilitation. That course has been offered online for the last year and the first two set of graduate groups have found it as, or even more amazing, than the in persons intensive trainings, which I didn't think was possible, but so it is, and there is no need to travel. In it participants will learn to guide others through journeys of the imagination for healing, positive change, divine connection and so much more. The next course begins June 12, 2018.

To learn more about how the course works and what is involved, you can click here, or here. Registration is also available at those links, and the early bird price, available for a short time, is $100 off the regular price. Testimonials are abundant at the bottom of this page. If you have been looking for healing, or for a modality that adds some of the magic back into your life and the life of your clients, in invite you to pursue the thought and click here.
